so, since last wednesday i've had a hard time shaking lyle lovett.
his ryman show is the newest addition to my top 5 live shows (in company with the likes of celine dion and joshua radin). lyle's show was an incredible blend: gospel, bluegrass, country, folk, rock, symphony. on top of that, it was chalked full of talented musicians (cello, fiddle, standing bass, bongo drums, barbershop quartet). this moving song gave me the chills 3 times over.
